Dear friends,

If you don’t know about East Lansing Info (eastlansinginfo.org), you should.

ELi is a local nonprofit service organization that brings East Lansing news that no one else does. ELi consistently reports on East Lansing’s School Board, City Council, local elections, big development, city finances, Parks & Rec, arts and entertainment opportunities, and more.

The people of ELi are members of our community, ranging from high schoolers to octogenarians. A handful of the people on ELi’s team even take on serious investigative reporting to work for us to help promote government transparency and accountability.

I’m a donor to ELi because I believe our community benefits enormously from this nonprofit service. Without it, we just can’t know what’s going on here with any kind of consistency.

Right now, ELi has a Match Campaign going on. If you’ve never before donated, a group of core ELi donors will match your contribution, dollar for dollar.

I would really appreciate if you would consider donating right now. If we can get ELi to its Sustainability Campaign goal, the people who serve this community by running ELi can focus on reporting news instead of fundraising to keep the team going.
