Armed Robbery at Pizza Hut

The East Lansing Police Department (ELPD) reported tonight that there was an armed robbery at Pizza Hut near the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Hagadorn Road at 8:45 p.m. tonight.

According to ELPD Chief Jeff Murphy, no one was injured in the robbery. He tells ELi that the ELPD is using a tracking dog as well as officers to try to track the suspect.

ELPD says the suspect is a black man, about 5’8” to 5’10”, and is believed to be wearing dark jeans, a white jacket or hoodie, and a red bandana. He was last seen moving north from the Pizza Hut.

Anyone seeing a person matching the description or seeing other suspicious activity should dial 911.
