The educated voter facing yesterday’s income tax proposal would have sought and absorbed a great deal of information before casting a ballot. But ultimately, all a registered voter could do was vote a simple “yes” or “no” (or abstain from voting).
We want to hear more than “yes” or “no” from you now. We want to know what reasoning went into your vote.
We’re asking primarily because we know from experience this is something our readers value – hearing from their neighbors about the reasons behind votes. We’ll share the responses with our readers.
But we are also asking because your responses will help the ELi team understand, for our future reporting, what kinds of issues matter to you when you vote. Knowing that will help us do better election reporting for you.
If you voted on the income tax proposal, please take our one question survey right now. All it asks is that you say which way you voted and why.
Click here to take the survey.
Thank you.
