There is also curbside collection for seniors and community members with disabilities. Call East Lansing Prime Time Seniors’ Program at 517-337-1113 by Wednesday, May 31, to schedule a collection.
Acceptable items for the event include small appliances, clothing, shoes, books, pillows and blankets, scrap metal and wood, bikes, medication, electronics (there may be a $20 fee), and more. Check the web site information at www.cityofeastlansing.com/RecycleEL for specifics.
BWL residential electric customers will receive a $25 rebate for a working room air conditioner or dehumidifier.
