Peace Quest 2017 kicks off today with a Peace March in East Lansing. Jim Detjen reports on the history of the event and on actvities planned for the week.

In a decision issued today, a federal judge ordered that the City of East Lansing must allow Country Mills to return as a vendor at the East Lansing Farmer's Market while the court decides a lawsuit involving questions of religious freedom and discrimination against same-gender couples.

A generous grant from LACT and space donated by the East Lansing Public Library gave eight teenagers a chance to take the first steps towards becoming citizen reporters. Program participant Grace Bargerstock reports.

MSU's Trustees have rejected a deal wherein City Council would pull the income tax proposal if MSU provided $20 million over eight years. Now, Council says, if voters don't approve an income tax, emergency services may be slashed.
