For the March 10 election, you can choose to vote in the Republican or Democratic presidential primaries on a ballot that will give you all the local proposals as well, or you can choose a nonpartisan ballot that lets you only vote on all local ballot questions.

All East Lansing voters will be asked about a possible land sale from the City of East Lansing to MSUFU.

  • For a dedicated and consistently updated voter guide on the land sale ballot question, complete with a map, renderings, answers to reader questions and more, click here.

Voters who live in East Lansing will also be asked whether to approve a number of tax ballot proposals. Which you vote on depends on your residence location.

  • To read about those tax proposals, click here.
  • To read more specifically about the Ingham Intermediate Schools proposal, click here.
  • To read mores specifically about the Potter Park Zoo proposal, click here.

Changes in Michigan law have made voting a lot easier than it used to be!
