The terms of three Councilmembers are ending in November: Mayor Nathan Triplett, Mayor Pro Tem Diane Goddeeris, and Councilmember Kathy Boyle. (Boyle will not have served a full four years because she was chosen by Council to replace Don Power when he resigned shortly into his term.)

When one thinks about influential people in city governmental affairs, one might picture local elected officials, high-ranking city staff, or maybe wealthy business owners. YOUR ELi: Independence

Saturday, July 4, 2015

Happy Independence Day from your ELi! Before ELi goes on summer break for the week (except for a reader survey and Council coverage, as explained below), I want to share with you a fundraising update and also reflect a little bit on ELi’s place in American history—because Independence Day is my favorite holiday, and ELi is my favorite local service organization.
